2008’s ninth homicide victim for San Jose has been identified. 

The man was found shot in a cul-de-sac Monday afternoon. The police have identified the victim but have not yet determined a motive. Officers found the body Monday around 3:45 p.m. while performing a check on a house after receiving a call that reported a disturbance.

Upon arrival, the police found the victim lying outside of the house. They would not say whether or not the victim lived at the residence.  

Police are still searching for the shooter. The investigation is ongoing.
