An apparent love triangle is the reason for the stabbing of a San Marcos woman.  The attacker stabbed the woman more than 20 times.  Neighbors described him as ‘very calm’ after the assault.  This was considered to be very strange and “quite eerie,” especially for what had just happened.

The attacker faces charges of attempted murder, residential burglary, and mayhem.  Bail was set at $2 million.  He was a known actor, playing his best known role as the character Haziz in the film “40-Year-Old Virgin.”  The medical condition of the woman is still unknown. 

According to authorities, the victim and the attacker had recently stopped dating.  The attacker came upon the woman and another individual having dinner together in her home.  It was this point that the first scuffle occurred.  The neighbors heard the woman scream and come to her rescue.  After negotiating with the neighbor, the attack simply put the knife down.
